Rusk Brilliance Leave-In is a creamy conditioner designed for colored hair. I have found that although not designed for afro textured hair this products works great on my natural 4a/b hair. When I first used this conditioner it left my hair kind of crunchy. The next time I tried it I applied a mixture of olive and safflower oil on top. My hair was super soft and my cuticles were smooth. Other customers with hair textures ranging from straight to curly also report good results with this product. I like that it does not leave a build up on my hair even when I used it daily. I really like using this product during the summer months because it is lighter than some of the other leave in conditioners I typically use on my natural hair. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because when used without oil my hair feels a little stiff. This product has definitely become a regular in my hair care routine.
